I am a carnivorous mammal and my favorite food is small rodents, but I can also eat rabbits, berries, birds, mushrooms, insects or even earthworms !

Because I am extremely resourceful I can live anywhere, even in cities alongside humans. In fact, I am the most abundant and wildly distributed carnivorous mammal in the world. You’ll find me from the Arctic to North Africa, and from Central America to the steppes of Asia.

Sadly I am hunted for my fur or because of my reputation for being a hen thief, however I am very useful to help prevent the proliferation of rodents who feed on crops in your fields.
