Hi, it’s me, Hippocampus whitei ! Also known as White’s Seahorse, I am on average 8 cm in size but can measure up to 13 cm. I swim at depths of between 1 and 25 metres in the Pacific South-West, along the coasts of the Solomon Islands and North Eastern Australia, but can also dive up to 46 metres deep !

I was named in the honour of English surgeon and naturalist John White.
