Shark

Mean, cruel and ferocious. For a fish my reputation is frankly scary. Some humans cannot help humming certain horror film music when my name is mentioned… It is true that I am a formidable predator, but I am not very aggressive towards humans, and in truth mostly feed on big fish, dolphins or seals. 

I must admit that while my sense of smell is excellent my vision is not great, which explains why, when humans surf where I am hunting (seal for example), I can sometimes get it wrong. As I am vulnerable to extinction my species is now protected. But when you have a bad reputation it is difficult to convince people to stop fishing you, to sell your teeth to tourists and eat your fins! 

So I count on you to stop fearing me and to simply think of me as an extraordinary animal!
