Where do I live?

Who I am?
I am the biggest of all bears! With the elephant seal I am one of the biggest carnivore on the planet. My white fur camouflages me on the ice sheets where I live.
When I hunt my favorite prey, the seal, I even hide my black nose with my front paws to make me harder to detect! I can be found around the North Pole in what is called the Arctic Circle.
My latin name (Ursus Maritimus) means “sea bear” because I am an incredible swimmer. I can swim kilometres to reach a drifting ice floe.
The biggest threat for me is climate change, with rising temperature melting ice sheets and destroying my habitat.
