GOTS certified
Since our beginnings in 2007, we have chosen to manufacture our clothes and accessories ethically in India, using GOTS certified organic cotton. The GOTS certification guarantees the respect of environmental and social criteria throughout the textile chain.
Organic cotton is: the absence of chemicals, a water consumption reduced by half, crop rotation and also the preservation of the health of producers.

We choose our workshops with care, according to their know-how and the respect of the working conditions.
The workshops we work with are certified GOTS, SA 8000 or Sedex. These standards of social responsibility guarantee the respect of the fundamental rights of workers. Our clothes and accessories are made in India, toys and stationery in Brittany (France).
Our creations, essentially turned towards the endangered wildlife, wish to sensitize the young public and their relatives to the protection of an endangered biodiversity. Our commitments go further as we finance environmental education programs.

Primatologist
In 2018, Coq en Pâte is engaging with Sabrina, the internationally renowned French primatologist, and her Project for the Conservation of Great Apes (PCGS). Sabrina Krief's research focuses on Sebitoli chimpanzees. Coq en Pâte has committed to finance, for 3 years, the salaries of the anti-poaching teams and the education programs, especially for young children.

In 2016, Coq en Pâte supports scientist-adventurer Deborah Pardo in her expedition to Antarctica and her project "Homeward Bound", which promotes the place of women in the world of science. In 2017, Coq en pâte became involved with the Peluchodon operation headed by Wapiti magazine, to protect the great apes. Thanks to the donations of stuffed animals, Coq en pâte gave a check of 5 000 € to the Foundation for Nature and Man, created by Nicolas Hulot, for its Rajako program to save primates and their natural habitats.
